June 2, 1937 ~ November 2, 2017 (age 80) 80 Years Old

Patrick “Pat” Kenneth Bolander, 80, of Prineville passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017. There will be A Celebration of Life on November 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Milwaukie Elks Lodge, in Milwaukie, Ore. Reception following service.

Pat was born on June 2, 1937 in Portland, Ore. to Ed and Claire Bolander. He graduated in 1955 from Milwaukie High School, where he was an avid football player and wrote for his High School Paper.

Pat worked at Portland distributing as a driver and a salesman. He was also the owner of the Milwaukie Liquor Store for 25 years.

Pat and Jill Bolander were married in 1958, who together had two sons, Brent (Lisa), and Jeff. He then married DeeDee in 2000, where he welcomed her two daughters and son, Kyra Ketcheson, and Deena (Trent) McGhee and son, Donny Rowton. In 2001, they moved to Prineville, Ore.

Pat was a Marine and a member of the Milwaukie Elks Club. He loved taking cruises, fishing, and hunting. Pat loved hosting family gatherings and celebrations. Pat loved his family and friends dearly. He loved sharing food, music and dancing.

Pat was involved at the Soroptimist Senior Center in Prineville, Ore. as a volunteer, A Hospice volunteer, and a member of the Prineville Presbyterian Church.

Pat was loved dearly by four grand daughters, Carly, Saige, Maggie, Dilly, and, three grandsons, Dustin, Kade, Elias, and. His brother Mike (Judy) Bolander, and several nieces and nephews.

Pat is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Claire Bolander, His first wife, Jill Bolander, and son Jeff Bolander.

There will be a service held at a later date in Prineville, Ore. for local friends and family.
