Allen Lind Seaweard

Allen Lee Seaweard, 69, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018, in Bend, Ore. There will be a Celebration of Life on January 12, 2018 at the VFW in Prineville, Ore. at 11:00 a.m. With a Graveside service at Juniper Haven Cemetery and Potluck Reception back at the VFW.

Allen was born on June 14, 1948 in Prairie City, Ore., to John and Donna Seaweard.

He attended Izee School and Grant Union High School where he graduated in 1966.

Allen worked at Ellingeson logging, then joined the Army and fought in the Vietnam War. He came back and worked at Les Schwabs for 30 years and then Pre-Q Rubber Company in Dallas, Texas until retirement.

Allen loved spending time with his family, friends and grandkids. He loved taking his grandkids shooting, and taking Dustyn hunting and fishing. Allen loved woodworking, and downloading new and old music.

Allen is survived by his son, Dustyn (Jillian) Seweard, granddaughter, Jaclyn Seaweard and grandson, Lige Seaweard.

Allen is preceded in death by his father, John Seaweard, his parents, Robin and Donna Huffman, son, Shane Seaweard, the love of his life and mother of his children, Shari Seaweard, sister, Judy Perragua, and niece Robin Ellis.

 Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of the Ochocos through Juniper Ridge Funeral Home.
