Harold Leroy Walton

Harold L. Walton, 79, passed away Thursday December 28, 2017 at his home in Prineville, Ore. surrounded by his family. A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.

Harold was born on January 20, 1938, in Silverton, Colo. He attended Nestucca High in Cloverdale, Ore., where he graduated in 1956.

Harold drove Log Truck for 10 years, and started in 1965, working for United Grocers for 18 years, and a Supervisor – Manager for ITTR truck driving school for three years.

He loved to hunt, fish and do wood working. He loved to watch all sports on TV and the Hunting and Fishing shows as well.

Harold was loved dearly by his high school sweetheart/wife of 61, years, Nellie Walton, three daughters, Cathy Dimbat, Vickie Jacoby, Teresa Standley, and four sons, Randy Walton, Doug Walton, Leroy Walton, and Les Walton. 16 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Harold is preceded in death by his mother and father, and two sisters, Deloris Fitch and Jeanette Chance.

Memorial contributions may be made through Juniper Ridge Funeral Home to the charity of ones choosing. A special thank you to St. Charles Hospice of Prineville for everything they did for Harold and his family.
