Marvin Martin Jensen

Marvin “Marv” Martin Jensen, 82, left us on May 24, 2018, in Prineville, Ore. A funeral service will be held at Powell Butte Christian Church, in Powell Butte, Ore. on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 12pm.  

Marv was born on April 20, 1936, in Spokane, Wash. to Roscoe and Amanda Jensen.  

Marv played basketball at Washington State University and served in the US Army from 1959 – 1961, including time stationed in Germany.  He went on to earn his PharmD degree while raising his three children with his wife, Darlene.

He owned and operated Pharmacies in Bend, Ore. La Pine, Ore.  and Prineville, Ore. before retiring.

Marv was a passionate man who lived his life to the fullest and will be missed by many.  

He is survived by his brother, Roger (Bonnie), Two sons, Blaine (Linda), Brent (Sue), one daughter, Brenda (Robert), four grandchildren Chad (Jordyn), Jayme (Sam), Kristi (Joe), and Allison, also four great-grandchildren Noah, Sean, Misty and Ryder. 

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years, Darlene, and granddaughter Emily.

Arrangements are being held by Juniper Ridge Funeral Home.
